| become more entrenched in our consciousness as | | | | read about them in our newspapers and on our |
| "right" while others do not enjoy any such | | | | websites and our hearts open in compassion for |
| "prestigious designation." | | | | those who are affected by horrible things or our |
| Very often, when someone steps outside existence | | | | hearts close to them because we cannot do anything |
| as it is defined by the "right" possibilities, the world | | | | about them. |
| around them will judge them as being strange or | | | | And whichever path we take brings us a lesson - |
| weird. However, since you have done that very | | | | either a lesson of compassion or a lesson of |
| thing, you know very well that you are not weird. | | | | detachment. Both lessons are valid. What really |

| bet that there are others on the planet who've made | | | | very same thing applies to every other being on the |
| choices that you consider strange. What about the | | | | planet. |
| choice of someone to be whirled away from their | | | | Our major concern is not meant to be for them - the |
| home in a cyclone? Or of someone to be crushed to | | | | "victims" of disasters or poverty or warfare. It is |
| death in an earthquake? Or to have their home | | | | meant to be for ourselves. It is meant to be the |
| destroyed in a hurricane? Do you realize that these | | | | enlivening and enlightening of our own soul. Not the |
| things are their choice? Do you think perhaps that | | | | saving of another's soul. Each time we complete an |
| saying that these things are their choice shows a lack | | | | action which enlightens our own soul even just a little |
| of compassion? Do you suppose that perhaps others | | | | more, we make the path of light more available to |

| The final picture of our lives is of our own choosing, | | | | create for others. But it is the enlightenment of our |
